A Sabbatic Primer for the Dilettante

As I mentioned in a previous post I am in the somewhat odd position of teaching aspects of sabbatic witchcraft2 to someone with no prior occult praxis and as such I have curated a small collection of short books, rites, and articles to act as a study guide. Since there was some interest (and it was deceptively time-consuming) I’m releasing it here as well. I have not provided the texts themselves but this is the Internet, you can figure it out. While I have aimed to make this collection as accessible as possible to new seekers this material is fairly advanced and there’s only so much I can do to avoid the ever-present curse of sabbatic purple prose.

The articles and books in each section are intended to be read together in the order presented.

Please note that all rites listed here are for academic purposes only. This primer is not intended as preparation or guidance for those wishing to begin a sabbatic praxis.

    1 – I use “dilettante” affectionately, don’t get mad.

2 – Apparently this needs saying but “sabbatic witchcraft” does not mean “Cultus SabbatiTM witchcraft”. No one is claiming to teach Cultus Sabbati material nor be a member of CS. There’s that big thing in bold up at the top too.
